Haffiz Yathali is a distinguished Mechanical Engineer and the managing director of YATZ Engineering Limited, with over 30 years of experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical and manufacturing sectors. He began his oil and gas career in 1996 as a vibration technician and eventually earned first-class honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies. Throughout his career, he has transitioned from a specialized focus on rotating equipment and vibration analysis to broader expertise in piping and structural vibrations.

In addition to his leadership at YATZ Engineering, Haffiz is a veteran educator, having lectured at the University of Trinidad and Tobago and served as a certified instructor for various international professional bodies. He is a prominent member of the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) and is well-regarded across the Caribbean and internationally for his contributions to engineering diagnostics and training.
